| WE HAVE THE
CHOICE
Little voices on the air at
WDVR-89.7FM helped launch the song, “We Have the Choice,”
about underage drinking. The music and lyrics were composed
by Hunterdon County children who attended an underage drinking
town hall meeting sponsored by Hunterdon Prevention Resources.
Local songwriter, Macheis Wind, guided a roomful of robust
young composers including Justine (left) and Abby (center) and
accompanied the young voices with guitar. Helping introduce
the song, the organization’s associate director, Kate Bergacs
(right) discussed the challenge of underage drinking in the
county. “We Have the Choice” can be heard on WDVR-89.7FM
intermittently during the broadcast day. |
