Time: 05:06:32
Although summer is winding down, the world of Paranormal Investigating continues to be a heated topic. The Red Mill in Clinton, New Jersey, which is over 200 hundred years old and which shares a growing body of evidence of paranormal activity along with its rich historical heritage, will be host to its first Paranormal University on Saturday, August 27, 2011. This event, co-sponsored by three of the region's preeminent paranormal research organizations; NJROPE, SPIRT of Pa, and NJPR, and supported by several exceptional eateries in the town of Clinton, The Country Griddle and Ye Olde Sub Base, will be a truly educational and entertaining experience for those experienced in paranormal investigation, those who are fans of any of the numerous paranormal shows on television or those who are just curious to find out if there is really something to all of this.
The day will begin at 3 pm with tours of the museum's grounds and the ten historic buildings, outlining both the historic and paranormal backgrounds of each of the buildings. From 5 pm to 8:00 pm lectures will be presented relating to paranormal theories including the display and hands-on training with equipment used in investigations. Participants will meet with vendors involved in paranormal investigations, review the growing body of actual evidence captured on the grounds of the mill in the last four years and be provided the opportunity for a "meet and greet" with some of the television personalities appearing on network paranormal television and radio. Following a 50/50 raffle, participants that have purchased full tickets will be taken out on the museum grounds for four hours of actual investigation with the latest equipment and techniques. This is a rare opportunity to experience this exciting new field, no matter what your background. Space is limited and tickets are available now by contacting the Red Mill Museum Village at (908)-735-4101, Ext. 100. Tickets are $15 for admittance to the programs from 3-8, $40 for pre-event registration and $50 at the door. The Red Mill Museum Village is a registered 501C3 organization and all proceeds will benefit the Museum and its operations. We look forward to seeing you there!
