TITLE: 10k BAIL FOR MAN HARASSING WIFE
On Tuesday, August 31, at approximately 5:40 pm, a twenty-six (26) year-old Clinton Township woman responded to police headquarters and reported that her twenty-seven (27) year-old husband violated a final restraining order. Specifically, the woman advised that her husband sent her eleven (11) harassing text messages between 11:50 am and 4:30 pm when the restraining order limits him to one (1) per day. In addition, the messages indicated that the husband was going to have the wife arrested for “kidnapping” their children, despite the fact that the wife has full custody. The man, who now lives outside of Clinton Township, then sent her a picture of the front of his hometown police department’s headquarters. Patrolman David Formalarie charged the man with Harassment and Domestic Violence-related Contempt, both Disorderly Persons Offenses. Bail was set at $10,000.xx. The man was arrested by his hometown police department and later released on bail.
