Monday, August 30, 2010 @ approximately 8:06 PM - Police arrested Rebecca L. Grotrian, age 18 of Flemington, and charged her with shoplifting from Kohl's on Rt. 202. Police were called to the store by a loss prevention employee who observed Grotrian place several articles of clothing, offered for sale by Kohl's and valued at $60.00, in her purse and attempt to leave the store without paying for them. A 16 year old juvenile from Flemington was also charged with shoplifting. The loss prevention employee also observed the juvenile place several articles of clothing, offered for sale by Kohl's and valued at $96.49, in her purse and attempt to leave the store without paying for them. Grotrian was released on her own recognizance. The juvenile was released to her mother. Investigation and arrest by Ptl. Scott Iglay.
