TITLE: : High Bridge Business Association Offers Discounted Electricity Rates for Homeowners, Businesses
|
The High Bridge Business Association is now offering discounted electricity rates for residents and businesses through Viridian Energy.
Viridian Energy was founded in March of 2009 and is a rapidly growing energy company. Viridian provides an alternate energy supply option to the local utility. By opting for Viridian, customers still keep their energy provider (JCP&L, PSE&G) but direct the energy provider to purchase the energy for their home or business from Viridian.
Viridian offers two products in New Jersey, Everyday Green and Pure Green. The Everyday Green product provides 20% of its total energy output from renewal sources. The Pure Green product purchases 100% of its energy from renewable resources. Both products are currently cheaper than JCP&L and PSE&G. Everyday Green customers received an 11.5% discount over JCP&L in August.
The High Bridge Business Association partnered with Viridian in July to offer these discounts to its customers, and receives a small fee for each customer who signs up.
“It’s a win-win for everyone,” said Joe Dispenza, President of the High Bridge Business Association and owner of Dispenza Financial. “The residents and business owners can earn a savings on their monthly electric, the HBBA earns a little more money to put back into the community, and the energy produced is greener.”
Customers have a flexible arrangement with Viridian. There are no hidden fees and the billing and service remains with JCP&L and/or PSE&G. Steve Bayly of Brasstack Home Inspection, who handles the Viridian implementation for the HBBA, pointed out that customers aren’t saddled with fees or contracts with Viridian. “It was important to us to offer a service that has no hidden fees, no termination fees, no contracts. It takes about 3 minutes to sign up and you could cancel at any time with no penalty. That’s important to us because we’re offering this to our customers and want them to have a good experience with it.”
The program is open to all residents and business of JCP&L and PSE&G, not only those from High Bridge. For more information or to sign up, visit www.Viridian.com/HBBA .
