On Thursday, August 26, at approximately 7:50 pm, Patrolman Lawrence Anthes stopped a vehicle operated by Joshua Amaya, age 26, of Fair Lawn, on Route 22 near Route 639. During the stop, Ptl. Anthes detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Mr. Amaya’s breath and soon determined that he was intoxicated. Ptl.
