Teresa Santini Monteverde, 82 a lifelong resident of Lambertville died Saturday August 28 at the Doylestown Hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Monteverde was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. She enjoyed her daily cryptograms, watching "All My Children" and was an avid NY Mets fan.

Daughter of the late Luigi and Helen Santini, widow of James Monteverde, she is survived by two daughters, Teresa Ringer and her husband Eugene of Flemington, Karen Monteverde, one son Louis James "Jim" Monteverde and his fiancé Deborah Lee, one brother Paul Santini, her brother- in- law Nicholas Monteverde all of Lambertville, her granddaughter Brenda Ringer of Flemington, her dear friend Mikie Edwards, "The Mayor of Buttonwood Street", several nieces, nephews and her friends at Liberty Dialysis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 1, at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church 44 Bridge St. Lambertville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hour will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Rt. 179 in Lambertville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad, PO Box 237 Lambertville, NJ 08530.
