TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY CONDUCTING SENIOR SCREEN
Senior Health Services, a department of the Division of Senior Services, will be sponsoring a Fall Series of Screening
and Health Awareness Programs. Dates and Locations are as follows:
FRIDAY, September 17, 2010 – Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church
390 Route 523, Whitehouse Station
WEDNESDAY, October 20, 2010 - St. Edward’s Parish Center,
Route 519 , Milford. (Date has been changed from
Friday, October 22nd to Wednesday, October 20th due to a conflict with our Annual
Volunteer Recognition Brunch at the Holiday Inn in Clinton NJ on October 22nd)
This program is generously sponsored by Merck & Company, J&J Community Foundation, Italian American Club,
Municipal and Private Donations. All programs are from 9:00am to 12:30pm. This program has been in existence for
over 30 years.
It has mushroomed into a very comprehensive program! Early detection is the key to prevention! All Hunterdon County
residents age 50 and over are eligible and there is no charge for any of the approximately 44 different tests/consults.
Donations are welcome. The 5 fasting, veni-puncture blood tests will still be offered.
A non-fasting thyroid blood test is also available. There will be over 25 agencies present who will be available
to offer information. Prevention is still a major priority. Pre-registration is strongly suggested, at least
4 days prior to each screening, however we do take walk-ins. To register call Eleanor Langeveld at 908-782-7224.
