The Hunterdon County 4-H Dairy Show was held on Thursday, August 26th and there were over 30 participants from the Mt. Airy and Dilts Corner Dairy clubs. Kelly Albanir received a blue in Holstein, Summer Junior Yearling and Holstein, Intermediate Senior Yearling. Erin Antol received a very good for Holstein, Senior Heifer Calves. Peyton Bond received an excellent in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves and Holstein, Senior Two Year Olds. Myranda Bond received an excellent in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves and in Holstein, Senior Two Year Olds. Kyle Bond received an excellent in Holstein, Senior Two Year Olds. Molly Boyle, our state Dairy Princess, received a very good in Holstein, Senior Yearling. Miranda Emery received an excellent in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves. Destiny Dworak received a very good in Holstein, Senior Heifer Calves. Kaitlyn Foder, our Fair Ambassador, received an excellent in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves. Fred Fulper received a very good in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves. Mikayla Fulper received an excellent in Holstein, Senior Yearling. Wyatt Fuller received a very good in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves. Dilynn Huthansel received an excellent in Ayrshire, Senior Two Year Olds. Jacob Hoffman received excellents in Brown Swiss, Intermediate Heifer Calves and Brown Swiss, Summer Junior Yearling. John Paul Hunt received an excellent in Guernsey, Intermediate Heifer Calves. Marissa Kerkendall received excellents in Holstein, Junior Yearling; Holstein, Senior Two Year Olds; and Holstein, Four Year Olds. Lauren Lelie received an excellent in Holstein, Intermediate Senior Yearling. Samantha Locandro received excellents in Jersey, Junior Heifer Calves and Jersey, Two Year Olds. Forest Locandro also received excellents in Milking Shorthorn, Senior Two Year Olds and Milking Shorthorn, Junior Three Year Olds. Lizzy McGrath received two excellent in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves and Brown Swiss, Summer Junior Yearling, and a very good in Holstein, Junior Three Year Olds. Sean McGrath received an excellent in Jersey, Junior Heifer Calves. Sara Meyer received an excellent in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves. Julia Miller received a very good in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves. Natalie Muscatill received a very good in Holstein, Junior Yearling. Aaron Palmieri received a very good in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves. Sarah Phillips, our County Dairy Princess, received an excellent in Holstein, Senior Heifer Calf. Emily Sigle received three excellent in Jersey, Junior Heifer Calves; Jersey, Summer Junior Yearling, and Jersey, Intermediate Senior Yearling. Emma Sneddon received an excellent in Holstein, Junior Heifer Calves. Jaime Tillet received an excellent in Holstein, Summer Junior Yearling. Amanda Wengryn received two excellents in Holstein, Junior Three Year Olds and Holstein, Senior Three Year Olds. Jennifer Wengryn received two excellents in Holstein, Senior Heifer Calves and Holstein Junior Two Year Olds, and a very good in Holstein, Junior Three Year Olds. Kristina Wengryn received three excellents in Holstein, Junior Yearling; Holstein, Junior Three Year Olds; and Holstein, Five Year Olds, and received two very goods in Holstein, Intermediate Heifer Calves and Holstein, Senior Two Year Olds. Kyle Young received two excellents in Brown Swiss, Junior Yearling and Holstein, Five Year Olds. In the Ayrshire class Dilynn Huthansel won Senior Champion and Grand Champion with Locus Valley Manny Lynn. In the Brown Swiss class Jacob Hoffman won Junior Champion and Grand Champion with Mashaderal Thunderpas Pearl. Kyle Young won Reserve Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion with KDY Eagle Lovely. In the Guernsey class John Paul Hunt won Junior Champion and Grand Champion with HUN-Col Hawk Dora. In the Jersey class Emily Sigle won Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion with ENF Remakes Top Mischiff and Reserve Junior Champion with ENF Mystics Icon. Samantha Locandro won Senior Champion and Grand Champion with Bar-Non Dedications. In the Milking Shorthorn class Forest Locandro won Grand Champion with Jen-Mill Millnr Nyla and Reserve Grand Champion with Tres Colles LHG Marge. In the Holstein class Payton Bond won Junior Champion with BSB Mulion Lorelei and Mikayla Fulper won Junior Reserve Champion with Fulp-Acres Affirmed Glory. Kristina Wengryn won Senior Champion and Grand Champion with Elk-Creek-Acres KA Rouge ET. Jennifer Wengryn won Senior Reserve Champion and Grand Champion with Lyncrest Miami. In the Special Class category: Kristina Wengryn won Dam & Daughter with her Holsteins Penn-Breeze SP Daphne and Penn-Breeze Dundee Delilah. Emily Sigle won Bred by Exhibitor with her Jersey ENF Remakes Top Mischiff. Lizzy McGrath won Bred by Lesee with her Holstein Hol-Val Limelight Cinderella. Samantha Locandro won Best Udder with her Jersey Bar-None Dedications Finally, In the Showmanship Classes the Following awards were given out: In the First Year Class (Grades 4 to 8), Julia Miller took first followed by John Paul Hunt in second. In the First Year Class (Grades 9-13), Jaime Tillet took first followed by Erin Antol in second. In the Beginner Showmanship Class (Grades 5-7), Myranda Bond took first, Peyton Bond took second, and Wyatt Fuller earned an Honorable Mention. In the Intermediate Showmanship Class (Grades 8-9), Marissa Kerkedall took first followed by Mikayla Fulper in second. In the Experienced Showmanship Class (Grades 10-13), Emily Sigle placed first and Kristina Wengryn second.
