The Hunterdon Vipers Herpetology Club was busy preparing their reptiles for the County 4-H Herpetology Show on Tuesday. From snakes and turtles to toads and geckos, all sorts of reptiles were present at the show. Lily Davis received an excellent and Reserve of Breed for one of her Amelayistic Corn Snakes and an excellent for her other one. She also won Best of Breed and an excellent for her Eastern Box Turtle. Connor Creig won Reserve of Breed and an excellent for his Leopard Gecko. Justin Podolec received an excellent and won best of Show and Reserve Best of Show for his Ball python along with an excellent for his bearded Dragon. Kevin Sievers’ African Clawed Frog won Best of Breed and an excellent, while his Bearded Dragon won Best of Breed, Best of Show and an excellent. Brian Zelkovsky won Best of Breed and an excellent for his American Toads and received an three excellents for his Bearded Dragon, Leopard Gecko and Mali Uromastyx. The Herpetology display is located in the Poultry/Rabbit/Herpetology tent at the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair. Come and check them out!
