On Friday, March 12, 2010, at approximately 0100 hours officers from the Readington Twp. Police Dept and Clinton Twp. Police Dept. attempted to serve a warrant at the Fountain Motel for a Joel Medina. Medina had been staying at the Whitehouse Motel in Readington but moved when he learned the police were looking for him. Sfc. Insabella spoke to Medina's girlfriend, Adrienne Schadlich who stated that she had "no idea" where her boyfriend was. But Schadlich told the Sergeant that she recently moved into the Fountain Motel. Police responded to the motel and found Medina locked in the motel room refusing to fully open the door. After a few minutes Medina turned himself in and Schadlich arrived on scene. Sfc. Insabella arrested Schadlich for Hindering the Apprehension of Another for lying about the whereabouts of Medina.
Schalich was processed and later released after been given a future court date.
