TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY NEWS - BAD CRASH ON 78 (PICTURES)
 

At 2117 on Wednesday evening the Clinton Rescue Squad, Clinton Fire and HMC MICU were dispatched for an overturned MVA off the roadway on Route 78 West in the Town of Clinton. BLS 4551 went responding immediately with 4 followed by Heavy Rescue 455 with 4. Upon arrival at 2119 crews found 1 car up an embankment with significant rear end damage and 1 patient still in the car. As EMS crews assessed and treated the patient, the  crew from Heavy rescue 455 worked to stabilize the vehicle with rescue struts and step blocks. The patient was removed and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Squad had a total of 15 members respond and were assisted by the NJSP, Engine 45-1 and Engine 45-2 from the Clinton Fire Dept.
