TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY NEWS - PROSECUTOR FILES MORE CHARGES ON MAN FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON A MINOR
The Hunterdon County Prosecutors Office (HCPO) Sex Crimes Unit announced
additional
criminal charges against the below defendant;RICK “RICKY” D. WEBSTER
DOB 10/18/1989 B/M
CLINTON, NEW JERSEY
Previously, Webster was charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile during the
months of August to September, 2009. A joint investigation conducted by the HCPO Sex
Crimes Unit, Readington Township Police Department and Raritan Township Police
Department resulted in the above defendant being charged with the following criminal
offenses;
One count of Sexual Assault, a crime of the 2nd degree
One count of Diseased Person Committing an Act of Sexual Penetration, a crime ofthe 3
rd degree
One count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the 3rd degreeUPDATE; A continuing investigation by the HCPO Sex Crimes Unit has
resulted in additional victims being located. As a result of this new evidence
Webster was charged on March 5
th, 2010, with another count of Diseased PersonCommitting Act of Sexual Penetration, a 3
rd Degree Crime. This new complaintalleges that between the dates of May 29
th, 2009 and August, 2009, Websterengaged in multiple acts of sexual penetration with J. Doe #2, without the informed
consent of the victim.
This investigation remains active and additional charges are likely. Bail has
been set at $10,000, no 10 percent, and the defendant remains incarcerated in the
Hunterdon County Detention Center.
