TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY NEWS - PROSECUTOR CHARGES MAN IN FLEMINGTON STABBING
The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO), Major Crimes Unit and
Flemington Borough Police Department announced an arrest in the stabbing of an
individual that occurred on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Flemington Arms Apartments.
Detectives charged the following individual with numerous criminal offenses;
ROHEL E MENDEZ-MENDEZ
HUNTER HILLS APARTMENTS, B-1
FLEMINGTON, NEW JERSEY
DOB: 04/24/1989
The victim was identified as Marlin Edguardo Juarez-Soto, age 22. Juarez-Soto
sustained a stab wound to his abdominal area. The victim was transported to Robert
Wood Johnson Medical Center and is listed in “good” condition after surgery.
The defendant was charged with the following criminal offenses;
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SECOND DEGREE CRIME)
POSSESSION OF A DEADLY WEAPON (THIRD DEGREE CRIME)
KNOWINGLY POSSESS A WEAPON (FORTH DEGREE CRIME)
In addition
ICE has placed a detainer on the defendant pending furtherinvestigation.
