Wine Lover’s or a Newbie to the Wine Experience Workshop Offered
The Hunterdon County ESC Adult Education and the Sand Castle Winery in Erwinna, Pennsylvania are bringing you a Wine Education, VIP style! Learn everything you ever wanted to know about wines and were afraid to ask. Whether you’re serving it in your own home or bringing it as a gift to someone else, a bottle of the right wine can make an event perfect. This workshop will help you make better choices when it comes to wines.
In the heart of the Central Delaware Valley viticultural district where wines are made and cellared in the finest European tradition, learn how to read a wine label; how to store, open and serve wine properly; understand the current trends in wine (new vs. aged) and wine faults (to accept to reject). Following the educational experience will be a wine tasting in the 30-foot deep wine cellar. You will savor the taste of 6-8 Chardonnay, Johannisberg Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir wines. They will also be accompanied with cheese & chocolates.
