TITLE: HUNTERDON COUNTY NATIONAL GUARD GETS AWARD

Captain Barbara A. Adamski, BSN, RNC, Patient Care Manager with the Hunterdon Medical Center, serves with the New Jersey Army National Guard.  With nineteen total years of service, Capt. Adamski served four years active duty, one year in the Army Reserve, and the last fourteen with the New Jersey Army National Guard (NJARNG).  Stationed at Sea Girt, Capt. Adamski is assigned to NJARNG’s Medical Command.  Hunterdon Medical Center’s Patient Care Management Director Janet Tremaine, RN, MSN, was nominated for an ESGR Patriot Award by Capt. Adamski.

In her nomination for the award, Capt. Adamski cited her supervisor, Ms. Tremaine, for consistently making accommodations to her work schedule created by conflicts stemming from her service in the Guard and, most importantly, Ms. Tremaine’s enthusiastic support and appreciation of Capt. Adamski’s service with the Guard.

On February 3, Ms. Tremaine was presented with the Patriot Award by NJESGR volunteers Michael Horgan and John Maloney in recognition of her support of the Guard and Reserve.
