Age: 12 and up
The Hunterdon Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a Make a Tote Basket workshop on Friday, February 19th from 5:30 pm. to 9:30 pm.
Children 12 and up come learn how to weave a Tote Basket.
This very useful basket will measure 10” x 6” x 8” tall. It has a cloth shoulder strap that makes it comfortable to tote around your paper work, lunch or whatnot. Wouldn’t it be fun to hear someone comment “Nice basket” and you could say “Thanks, I made it!”
Join instructor, Liz Fulmer at the Hunterdon County Arboretum, located at 1020 Route 31 North, in Lebanon. Please bring a snack and drink. The workshop fee is $28.00, which includes materials.
Registration for the program is required and is first come – first served. Stop in at the Arboretum or download a registration form from our website at www.co.hunterdon.nj.us click on “Parks & Recreation.” For more information call the Park Department at (908) 782-1158.
