Dear Parents,

As Valentine’s Day is approaching, we would like to remind you that the Readington Township Board of Education has a policy regarding the distribution of candy at school. Food and beverages listing sugar, in any form, as the first ingredient are not to be distributed through the school.

We understand that on Valentine’s Day, it is traditional to send candy. However, it shouldn’t be sent via the classroom.  We appreciate your cooperation in helping us to follow school district and state policies in our celebrations at school.
