HUNTERDON COUNTY - After deciding to lower the county rate for open public info requests - (see story above this one) Freeholder Peterson zeroed in on the Surrogate office. "I don't know what we can do about it but the costs for copying in the surrogates office are astronomical."

Counsel Desapio said he would reach out to surrogate Hoffman in an attempt to get all offices in line with the new policy.
