Basic Yoga for Cancer Patients will be held on Thursday July 30, 2009 from 6pm-8pm in the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center (HRCC) conference room. This event will teach the fundamentals of yoga and how it can benefit cancer patients of all stages. There will also be an opportunity to participate in gentle chair-based yoga suitable for people at all levels.

Local yoga instructor Carol Pepe will lead the program. Ms. Pepe was a cancer patient at HRCC treated for Multiple Myeloma and wants to share how yoga became the heart of her healing process.

This program is open to the community and those interested must register to attend by calling (908)237-5445.
