On Tuesday, May 13, at approximately 5:20 pm, a Toro Proline lawnmower was left unattended by a man known only as “Bart” in a field off of Rossi Drive. The lawnmower subsequently rolled down a hill and struck the Cl twp residence of #19 Highfields Drive. The collision caused damage to the house’s siding, foam insulation, and sheetrock. The owner of the residence reported both hearing and feeling the substantial impact, stating that it sounded like a loud earthquake. Patrolman Laurence Anthes is investigating.
