COUNT 1                   SHOPLIFTING                                                                    3RD DEGREE

 

      The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths present that Eileen Lafferty, on or about January 31, 2008, in the Township of Raritan, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly or purposely did take possession of, carry away, transfer or cause to be carried away or transferred, any merchandise displayed, held, stored or offered for sale the Home Depot, that is, copper fittings, in an amount in excess of $500.00 but less than $75,000.00, with the intention of depriving the Home Depot  of the possession, use or benefit of such merchandise or converting the same to the use of such person without paying to the merchant the full retail value thereof, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:20-11b, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 2                   POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED                                 3RD DEGREE

                                    DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE (COCAINE)

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Eileen Lafferty, on or about January 31, 2008, in the Township of Raritan, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, did knowingly or purposely possess, actively or constructively, a controlled dangerous substance, that is, cocaine, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:35-10a(1), and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
