(We will carpool or caravan from the municipal building to the hike location. Those requesting to meet at the hike site will be given instructions)

Explore a beautiful natural area right in your neighborhood

Join us to walk the former farm fields and wooded areas, explore the pond and stream, view the broad sweeping vistas; look for hawks, bobolinks and other threatened grassland birds.

Trail Rating: mostly level open fields and old farm roads. We plan to walk about 1.5 miles

This 486 acre publicly accessible State preserve near the village of Three Bridges was once the proposed site of over a thousand housing units. It was preserved by Readington Township and sold to the State of New Jersey to be managed for wildlife and conservation. There is hunting in season.
