TITLE: Cl Twp Cops grab Brooklyn boys driving with scotch, cocaine, marijuana and an illegal weapon - welcome to the HC Jail

On Thursday, May 8, at approximately 1:20 am, Patrolman Drew MacQueen stopped a vehicle operated by Gabriel Ingrassia, age 31, of Brooklyn, NY on Route 173 near Center Street after a computer inquiry revealed that Mr. Ingrassia was driving a suspended vehicle.  During the stop, Ptl. MacQueen observed an opened bottle of scotch inside of the vehicle and marijuana residue on the center console.  A search of the vehicle produced a small amount of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, and a .380 caliber Pistolet Besshumnyj handgun.  Mr. Ingrassia was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Driving A Suspended Vehicle.  In addition, Mr. Ingrassia was found to have a $240.xx motor vehicle warrant out of the North Hunterdon Municipal Court stemming from a prior Speeding summons issued by the New Jersey State Police.  Judge Eric Perkins of the North Hunterdon Municipal Court set bail at $10,000.xx.  When he was unable to post the necessary bail, Mr. Ingrassia was transported to the Hunterdon County Jail.

Passenger Carmine Russo, age 54, also of Brooklyn, NY was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle.  Judge Eric Perkins set Mr. Russo’s bail at $10,000.xx as well.  When Mr. Russo was unable to post the necessary bail, he was transported to the Hunterdon County Jail. 

Dominique Ferreira, age 37, with addresses in Sugarloaf, PA, Lattimer Mines, PA, and Jersey City, NJ was found to have approximately $4,500.xx in motor vehicle warrants out of Greenwich Township and Allamuchy Municipal Courts.  He was turned over to the New Jersey State Police when he was unable to post.
