At the April 21 meeting, our Board of Education honored this year's picks for the Governor's Teacher Recognition Program.

William Cahill, Grade 8 Science, J.P. Case Middle School
Judy Taylor, Grade 3, Robert Hunter School
Betty Newman, Grade 5, Reading-Fleming Intermediate School
Debbie Glessner, Resource Center, Copper Hill School
Kelly Hale, Grade 1, Francis A. Desmares School.
In addition, Judy Taylor was chosen as our district's 2007-2008 Teacher of the Year. The teachers will be honored at an annual county reception on June 6. Congratulations to all!
