Up until June 1, 2008, the Clinton Township Police Department will be accepting applications for the Junior Police Academy from Clinton Township/Lebanon Borough boys and girls (Note:  If there are remaining openings available after June 1, 2008, applicants who live outside of this area may apply in person up until June 10, 2008.  If you are interested you may leave your contact information with us).  All eligible applicants must be 12 -15 years of age as of June 23, 2008.  The 2008 Junior Police Academy will be taking 25 recruits.  All applications received from qualified individuals will be processed on a first come first serve basis.  This program is offered free of charge.

Planned activities for the week include marching, light physical training, exposure to simulated police work, classroom time, guest speakers, presentations and field trips.  Anyone having any questions should contact Detective Thomas Hash or Sergeant Marc Strauss at 908-735-7230.  Applications can be picked up Monday thru Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm @ the Clinton Township Police Department starting April 21, 2008.
