LEBANON BORO HOLDS ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON SCENIC BYWAY DESIGNATION FOR I-78
In conjunction with the Hunterdon County and Lebanon Borough Planning Boards, representatives from the various municipalities along the I-78 Corridor will be meeting in Lebanon Borough Council Chamber on April 18, 2008 at 11AM to propose an I-78 Scenic Byway Designation application to NJDOT.
According to the NJDOT website, Scenic Byways highlight transportation corridors that have outstanding scenic, natural, recreational, cultural, historic or archaeological significance. They represent the uniqueness and diversity of the state and together tell a compelling story about New Jersey’s history, heritage, recreational opportunities and beauty.
This meeting will be the first step in proposing a Scenic Byway Designation and set the stage for moving forward with the application and sponsorship.
Please call (908) 788-1490 for further information or to RSVP. The physical address to the Lebanon Borough Municipal Building is 6 High Street, Lebanon, NJ 08833
