HUNTERDON COUNTY - THE HC NEWS, at the request of several readers and a few municipal officers around the county, has reached out to the Sheriffs Department, specifically newly sworn Sheriff Trout, to discover exactly what new appointments have been made to her staff. As of this afternoon we have yet to hear back on this matter and as soon as we do we will toss is up for general consumption. A swelling of behind closed doors skepticism has been brewing regarding the apparent appointment of certain individuals but until those things have been confirmed no commentary can be made on the issue.
