Defendant
The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths present that Michael Ratajczak-Leaman, on or about March 22, 2007, in the Township of Franklin, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, purposely did prevent Patrolman Kevin Bollaro, a law enforcement officer of the Franklin Township Police Department, from effecting a lawful arrest by using or threatening to use physical force or violence against said law enforcement officer, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 29-2a, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
COUNT 2 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A 3RD DEGREE
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Michael Ratajczak-Leaman, on or about March 22, 2007, in the Township of Franklin, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, purposely did attempt to cause, or purposely, knowingly or recklessly cause bodily injury to Patrolman Kevin Bollaro, of the Franklin Township Police Department, while the said officer was acting in the performance of his duties while in uniform or exhibiting evidence of his authority, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1b(5)(a), and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
COUNT 3 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE
The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Michael Ratajczak-Leaman, on or about March 22, 2007, in the Township of Franklin, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, purposely did attempt to cause, or purposely or knowingly did cause significant bodily injury to Patrolman Kevin Bollaro, or under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life recklessly causes such significant bodily injury, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1b(7), and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
