The Three-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have placed new Birthday Packages on sale for the upcoming 2008 season.
 
The Somerset Patriots now offer three package levels for the very popular Birthday Package at Commerce Bank Ballpark.
 
All three packages start with the Rookie Package that includes ten tickets, ice cream sandwiches, a crowd rendition of "Happy Birthday" as the guest of honor stands on the playing field, birthday boy or girl’s name displayed on the scoreboard, ten Patriots goody bags, a t-shirt and signed baseball for the birthday boy or girl, and a birthday card from the team’s mascots Sparkee and Slider. The Rookie Package starts at $200.
 
The next level is the All-Star Package, which includes everything in the Rookie Package, as well as ten kids’ meals (hot dog or chicken fingers, chips, and a soft drink), and a group picture with a birthday card. The All-Star Package is priced at $275.
 
The top level package is the MVP Package which includes ten field box seats, ten kids’ meals (hot dog or chicken fingers, chips, and a soft drink), a group picture with a birthday card, a free membership into the Somerset Patriots Kids Club for the birthday child, a personalized birthday cake, and the birthday child’s picture on the scoreboard during the game. The MVP Package is $350.
 
Additional tickets can be purchased for kids at $15 a piece or for adults for $9.00 for Upper Box Seats and $10 for Field Box Seats. Additional kids’ meals can be purchased for $6.75 and the team can provide invitations to send out for $1.00 a piece.
