On Monday, January 14, at approximately 5:05 pm, Patrolman Harry Bugal stopped a vehicle operated by Deborah Hutchings, age 44, of Clinton Township, on Blossom Hill Road. During the stop, Ptl. Bugal observed bloody tissues and other indication of drug use. A search produced two hypodermic syringes and seven bags of heroin. As a result, Ms. Hutchings was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Driving An Uninsured Vehicle, Failure To Signal Turn, and Failure To Wear Seatbelt. Judge Eric Perkins of the Clinton Township Municipal Court set bail at $10,000.xx. The woman was later lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
