On Monday, January 14, at approximately 2:40 pm, Patrolman Harry Bugal responded to a township residence for a report of two brothers fighting. Upon arrival, Ptl. Bugal observed a twenty year-old township man with cuts and scratches about his body that he received from fighting with his twenty-four year-old brother, with whom he resides. As a result, Ptl. Bugal arrested the twenty-four year-old and charged him with Domestic Violence-related Simple Assault. He was released ROR. The victim decided not to apply for a restraining order.

On Monday, January 14, at approximately 5:15 pm, Patrolman Joseph SanGiovanni arrested a forty-four year-old township woman after a domestic violence incident. The woman’s fifty year-old boyfriend, with whom she resides, contacted the police and advised that the woman bit him on the face and struck him in the leg with a piece of iron the prior evening. Officer SanGiovanni observed a bloody bite mark on the man’s face and therefore arrested the woman. She was charged with Simple Assault and released ROR. The man decided not to apply for a restraining order.
