Happy New Year, Everyone!

Hunterdon Resident Michelle Anderocci, is President of the TJL Foundation.  TJL provides practical financial support and education to persons diagnosed with cancer.

The TJL Foundation was founded in memory of Tamara Jane Lizzi, who was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 22.  Through her legacy, many families who suffer financial hardship due to the high costs of medical care and treatment have received financial assistance.  Monies raised by various events have been allocated to support early detection and provide education to those diagnosed with cancer.  In addition, the TJL foundation has worked with clothing designers to create "designer hospital clothes" for cancer patients in an effort to boost morale and heighten self esteem as they go through chemotherapy.

TJL is hosting their 1st event of 2008 at Max's Bistro in Flemington, NJ on Sunday, Jan. 27th from 4pm - 10pm.  If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation to the TJL Foundation.

Unfortunately, cancer is a disease that has touched each of us on some level.  Please consider making the TJL Foundation one of your "charities of choice" for 2008 and beyond.  Let's make a difference.
