On Wednesday, January 9, at approximately 10:35 pm, Steven Carrano of Clinton Township was driving on Blossom Hill Road when his vehicle began experiencing mechanical problems. Mr. Carrano also detected the heavy odor of gasoline and therefore pulled over and parked. When he exited the vehicle, it caught fire and soon became fully engulfed in flames. The Clinton Township Police, the Lebanon Fire Department, and the Annandale Fire Company responded and extinguished the fire. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. No one was injured and there were no suspicious circumstances.
