Hunterdon County - Was loaned a copy of Al Gores award winning, Sundance and Cannes, documentary, an inconvenient Truth, a 96 minute discussion of weather changes that are being attributed to global warming. This is a movie everyone should watch. Does it at times have unnecessary political commentary, yes, but thankfully they are short and do not mar the message that we as humans are effecting the course of nature. There are tremendous amounts of statistical data for one to mull over and process. There are simple facts that the two frozen poles have begun to melt and that Greenland is also in a melting pattern, which not only creates the possibility of raising the ocean levels but also warms the ocean temperature creating greater regularity for typhoons, hurricanes and other weather related disasters including both flooding and drought. This is an issue that we can no longer ignore, and whether you believe the global warming premise or not, one part of the movies message is clear, we have to start doing a better job controlling pollution or the effects on all of us will be large. Check the movie out, it's on DVD and can be rented, the information is valuable to have within your mental arsenal.
