HUNTERDON COUNTY - This is an adaptation of a Stephen King Novel which pits the main character, John Cusack, a paranormal investigator, against the dark sides of famous places where tragic murders have occurred. Is 1408 his last stand.??? You be it is., In a performance that could be seen as similar to Nicholson's shining character, Cusack does a good job loosing his noodle.

The plot at points gets a bit absurd but you do sit nearly on the edge of your seat and you do want to find out what happens next. This is no Citizen Kane, but it's not trying to be either. If you want a quick jolt of paranormal hysteria, give it a look, it's on HBO on demand right now.

Out of ten this sits around a 6 and a half. Not suggested for little ones below ten.
