Many studies have come out that say drinking apple juice at least once a day can reduce heart related problems.

A team of researchers at UC Davis School of Medicine in the US have found that drinking apple juice appears to slow down a process that can lead to heart disease.

And not to mention the fact that apples are a local crop and hey, apple juice tastes good.

So which one to choose.

Sample number one - Nantucket nectar  - My father - who has some heart related issues in his family medical history has locked in on this as his favorite so I decided to give it a try.

One thing that rings true in every heart health article is that you need one with 100 percent apple juice - and Nantucket passes this test.

Next is taste and Nantucket is a crisp great tasting juice. There are no horrid aftertastes and it doesn't encourage a gassy reaction afterwards. I find it to be simply delightful. Served cold you can drink it any time during the day.

4. Some scientific research shows that apple juice may help improve brain function and, ultimately, improve cognition due to this reason.

5. Due to the high amount of antioxidants found in apple juice, it may help reduce cholesterol levels.

The boys in Massachusetts say this about their product.

Tom and Tom started their adventure servicing visiting boats in Nantucket Harbor. They bought a Boston Whaler, painted the name "Allserve" on the side, and a business was born. Their jobs consisted of delivering everything from newspapers and coffee, to laundry and other necessities not easily obtainable without a trip into town. There was a blender. Tom and Tom made their first Nantucket Nectars using a blender in a rented house in Cisco on Nantucket Island. The first flavor was a great tasting peach nectar. Since then the juice guys have been dedicated to providing the best juice possible. Years and many flavors later, we're moving forward by going back to the blender.
