COUNT 1                   UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON                  3^RD DEGREE

The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2008, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a certain weapon, that is, a Winchester 12 gauge shotgun, without having first obtained a firearms purchaser identification card in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58-3, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 39-5c, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 2                   UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON                 3^RD DEGREE

The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2008, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a certain weapon, that is, a Marlin 120 MXR 12 gauge shotgun, without having first obtained a firearms purchaser identification card in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58-3, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 39-5c, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 3                   UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON                 3^RD DEGREE

The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2007, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a certain weapon, that is, a Winchester Model 1300 20 gauge shotgun, without having first obtained a firearms purchaser identification card in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58-3, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 39-5c, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 4                    ILLEGAL TRANSPORT OF WEAPONS             4^TH D EGREE

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2008, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, in the county aforesaid and within the jurisdiction of this Court, did, transport a firearm, namely a Winchester 12 gauge shotgun, having not been licensed  or registered to do so, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-9d and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 5                    ILLEGAL TRANSPORT OF WEAPONS             4^TH D EGREE

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2008, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, in the county aforesaid and within the jurisdiction of this Court, did, transport a firearm, namely a Marlin 120 MXR 12 gauge shotgun, having not been licensed  or registered to do so, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-9d and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 6                    ILLEGAL TRANSPORT OF WEAPONS             4^TH D EGREE

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, on or about February 23, 2007, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, in the county aforesaid and within the jurisdiction of this Court, did, transport a firearm, namely a a Winchester Model 1300 20 gauge shotgun, having not been licensed or registered to do so, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-9d and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 7                   THEFT                                                                                   3^RD DEGREE

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Joseph J. Helewa, between the dates of February 2007 and February 23, 2008, in the Township of West Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did unlawfully take or exercise unlawful control over movable property of Joseph Helewa, namely, a firearm, that is, a Winchester 12 gauge shotgun, Winchester Model 1300 20 gauge shotgun and a Marlin 120 MXR 12 gauge shotgun , with purpose to deprive the owner thereof, contrary to the provisions of  N.J.S.A. 2C:20-3, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
