COUNT 1                   UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON                    2ND DEGREE

The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths present that Richard A. Johnston, on or about March 6, 2008, in the Township of Readington, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a certain weapon, that is, a Ruger P97 DC handgun, without having first obtained a permit as provided in N.J.S.A. 2C: 58-4, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 39-5b, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

  

COUNT 2                   PROHIBITED DEVICES                                                     4TH DEGREE

 

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Richard A. Johnston, on or about March 6 2008, in the Township of Readington, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a large capacity ammunition magazine, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-3j, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

COUNT 3                   UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON                    4TH DEGREE

The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Richard A. Johnston, on or about March 6 2008, in the Township of Readington, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did possess a certain weapon, that is, a knife, under circumstances not manifestly appropriate for such lawful uses as they may have, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C: 39-5d, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

 

 

COUNT 4                   PROHIBITED WEAPON                                                     4TH DEGREE

 

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Richard A. Johnston, on or about March 6 2008, in the Township of Readington, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did

possess a certain weapon, that is, two sets of silver brass knuckles and a gravity knife, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-3e, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.

 

 

COUNT 5                   PROHIBITED WEAPONS AND DEVICES                       4TH DEGREE

 

            The Grand Jurors of the State of New Jersey, for the County of Hunterdon, upon their oaths further present that Richard A. Johnston, on or about March 6, 2008, in the Township of Readington, in the County of Hunterdon, and within the jurisdiction of this Court, knowingly did 

possess a certain weapon or device, that is, dum dum bullets, contrary to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2C:39-3f, and against the peace of this State, the Government and dignity of the same.
