TITLE: COUNTY PITCHES IN 10K TO SUE STATE OVER COAH

ARTICLE

HUNTERDON COUNTY - After a bit of debate, led by Freeholder Melick, against pitching in for the suit being waged by Cl Twp and a few of its neighbors against the next round of COAH low income housing requirements being jammed down municipal throats by the state, the other four Freeholders thought it was wise, county wide, to Donate 10 thousand dollars to that effort.

The Freeholders had no idea where that money was going to come from but vote don it anyway figuring there was wiggle room somewhere in the budget.  Most of the group realized that this suit is being finely tuned and that is why only select municipalities are named in the suit but that did not mean it wouldn't effect all the rest.
