4) ANNOUNCEMENTS

A.   There is only one regular Township Committee meeting on August 14, 2008.   The

            next regular meeting of the Township Committee will be held on September 11,

            2008.

 

B.   Tax Bills will be mailed late this year due to the late adoption of the budget; look for

            them in mid-August.  There is a twenty-five day grace period from the date of tax

            bill mailing, after which time interest reverts to August 1, 2008.   Please call the

            Tax Collector for further information.

 

C.   Municipal Offices will be closed on September 1, 2008, in observance of Labor Day

 

D.  Municipal Office renovations will take place at the end of August through the end of

            October.   Business offices for most staff members will be located in the

            basement.    There will be accommodations made for ADA compliance in meeting

            the resident’s needs.

 

E.  There is no curbside brush pick-up in 2008.   The grit yard will be open during  

            normal working hours for drop-off: Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. in

            September and 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in October.  It will also be open on the

            following Saturdays from 8 a.m. –noon: September 13, September 27, October

            11, October 25
